I’ve been using the Typecase Flexbook Touch for about a month & a half w/ my iPad Pro Air 13 (M4), & overall I’m genuinely impressed. The keyboard itself is fantastic — smooth, quiet, & very comfortable when typing. It doesn’t have that loud “I am aggressively writing a novel in a coffee shop/generic background office soundboard” clacking.
TRACKPAD- excellent & responsive.
WEIGHT/PORTABILITY- wayyy better than I expected for a keyboard case this sturdy.
BLUETOOTH PAIRING- effortless.
MAGNETIC iPAD ATTACHMENT- strong & super easy to attach & remove.
APPLE PENCIL HOLDER- Secure w/ 2 diff. convenient placement options.
HONORABLE MENTIONS- overall build quality feels premium & gives off a “I paid $100+ for this” and the extra function keys + shortcuts are actually useful (not just filler buttons nobody touches). Also, it probably doesn’t matter to most, but we manual it comes with. He’s not only super helpful, but actually include useful tips, List of shortcuts, etc. Granted, I am one of those nerds who enjoys reading manuals, but I promise this one’s actually fun to read & learn from. [I’d recommend saving it if you’re not familiar w/ Apple functionality.]
Okay- The swivel hinge deserves its own shout-out. I didn’t think I’d use it much… turns out I use it constantly. It makes switching between typing, watching, and awkward airplane tray table situations incredibly easy. For travel and working on the go, this thing is basically a laptop substitute. *Chefs Kiss*
So, why not 5 stars? 2 annoyances:
1. Battery life is…disappointing, to say the least.
I own 2 other Typecase keyboards for my ADDT’L iPads that last literally MONTHS on a charge w/ similar use. This one needs charging about once every 2wks w/ moderate usage. To be honest, I’m wondering if I got a defective unit.
2. A couple of keys are getting ‘slightly’ sticky.
They still work, but occasionally don’t register smoothly. Not a dealbreaker, but noticeable.
OVERALL:
If the battery life matched my previous Typecase experiences, this would easily be a 5-star product. As it stands, it’s still a very strong 4 stars (4.5 if I could select it) excellent design, great experience overall, & incredibly versatile…I will reach out to see if something can be done about the minor issues. Depending on the outcome & customer service experience, I will gladly update or provide a new review w/ the appropriate rating.
I still highly recommend this product & would purchase another if needed.

TLDR; overall, absolutely amazing product. Couple of minor issues. If You going back-and-forth on a decision, just buy it. You won’t be disappointed, and if you are, just assume it’s wasn’t me who told you to buy it. 😊
