All our external representatives are equipped with 13" iPads, along with the keyboard, trackpad, and cases provided by us. Although admittedly, a group of twelve individuals is not large, I can share our experience with these devices. When we initially transitioned from "true" laptops to the compact combination of iPad and third-party keyboard, trackpad, and cases, our procurement team was purchasing one brand at a time as each representative was converted. Following standard purchasing procedures, the initial units cost between $40 and $55. In my professional opinion, opting for the least expensive option is seldom the most appropriate choice. Of the first five units purchased, four failed within two months. I conducted research and found only positive reviews regarding the Typecase Edge brand of units. Consequently, we replaced the initial five units and all subsequent purchases with this brand. Although not relevant to this review, it is worth noting that this brand offers a variety of colors and finishes for their products. Now, approximately one year after our initial procurement, all units continue to function flawlessly and still appear nearly new.

The Typecase Edge+ Keyboard Case is a must-have accessory for the new iPad Air 13-inch (M2/M3). It’s ultra-slim yet impressively sturdy, with a detachable back case that makes switching between tablet and laptop modes seamless. The magnetic stand is strong and stable, perfect for typing, sketching, or watching videos hands-free.
The keyboard itself is a joy to use—responsive keys, a smooth built-in trackpad, and an eye-catching 11-color backlight that adds flair and functionality in low-light settings. I especially appreciate the portrait mode option, which is great for reading and vertical workflows. The integrated pencil holder keeps everything tidy and accessible.
Whether you're working remotely, studying, or just want a more laptop-like experience on your iPad, this case delivers style, versatility, and performance. Highly recommended for anyone serious about getting the most out of their iPad Air.

I am loving this keyboard case for my iPad Pro! It is well designed, and the manufacturing quality is excellent. I like the illuminated keyboard with color selection, and the track pad also works well. My iPad fits nicely, and the hinge holds it firmly in place at the desired angle. To date, I am very happy with this product, so it earns my five star blessing and recommendation for sure!

The black Typecase Edge+ Keyboard Case has completely transformed the way I use my iPad Pro. I have a 6th generation tablet and it fits it with ease. It magnetically attaches in seconds and instantly turns the tablet into a portable productivity machine—perfect for working at home, in a coffee shop, or even on a flight. The setup is effortless, and it really makes my iPad feel like a laptop replacement.
I love the multi-mode flexibility. I can type in horizontal mode, flip it vertically for reading, or detach into tablet mode while still having protection from the built-in shell. That balance of versatility and security makes it practical for both work and play which makes it an even better value for your money.
The typing experience is excellent. The keys are well-spaced and responsive, with 11 backlight colors and 3 brightness levels. The shortcut keys for iPadOS make multitasking faster and more efficient. It’s comfortable enough for long typing sessions without hand fatigue.
The touchpad is another standout feature—smooth, accurate, and fully supports iPadOS gestures. Navigating between apps or screens feels seamless, just like on a laptop.
The floating magnetic stand is strong and stable, easily adjustable up to 130° for the perfect viewing angle. The magnets hold tight, so there’s no wobbling or slipping.
Even with all these features, the case is slim and sleek. The detachable shell is lightweight but protective, and the magnetic force feels secure without adding bulk.
Overall, the Edge+ Keyboard Case is stylish, practical, and high-performing. It elevates the iPad into a true productivity tool while keeping it portable and protected. Highly recommended for anyone who wants laptop-level functionality in a slim, modern design.

The detachable keyboard is a handy feature that makes it easy to switch between typing and using the tablet directly. Build quality feels solid, and the keys have a decent amount of travel, which is nice for longer typing sessions. The backlight is a useful addition, especially in low-light conditions. However, the case can add some bulk to the iPad, which might be a downside for those looking for a slimmer profile. Overall, it serves its purpose well, though it could be a bit more lightweight.

This case is absolutely awesome. It converts my iPad into a laptop for a fraction of the cost.
I love that it makes my iPad super portable and gives me a lot of flexibility to work on the road. The keyboard lights up, and it's actually really beautiful in the dark.
It's durable, too. I can be a bit rough on my devices at times, and this still looks as good as the day I got it.
I do a lot of field visits for my job and client visits, and this case has already taken several trips with me. I don't think I'll ever convert back to a stand-alone iPad. I can type so much faster and more accurately with this versus a stylus / touchscreen.
This case is so worth the money when you compare it to the price of a Macbook.

Slim profile, good protection, responsive:
This product has a sleek and slim profile that looks cool and allows you to slide this into a laptop sleeve or small bag with ease. The product's rigid outer materials and detachable case really enhance the overall protection of the case to protect against small-medium bumps and falls without sacrificing the slim design. The protection level isn't fully shock absorbing through, so while this offers great protection for day to day use it's not enough for more industrial environments. The product's keyboard has been smooth to type on and the trackpad feels natural and is responsive to touch. There's been no lag or delay in the typing experience and it feels like you're typing on a small laptop.
Overall, this is a good product and I would recommend.

Very impress how great this case is. It is so easy to place the iPad on and not move at all. The magnetic is strong and wont have to worry about it falling the tilt only goes to far and doesn’t recline all the way but that isn’t a problem since I use it for work. The keyboard works flawlessly and has never lost connection. The protection is there and no need to worry about slipping out. The weight is too bad but you know your iPad is secured. I think if you need a case that you travel a lot with and need to do work then this is the case for you. It does have a slot for your pencil. The flip that covers the case doesn’t get in the way. It is safe to fly and hasn’t had any issue with TSA. It is a great an investment to elevate you iPad to make it better. The lighting of the keyboard isn’t too bright and doesn’t cause any problems. I haven’t charged in a couple days. The battery life is remarkable and will last for a very long time.

This keyboard for the current generation iPad Air 13" is well engineered, functional, and offers sufficient protection. The iPad sits in a detachable case that allows you to rotate the iPad horizontally and vertically while maintaining the magnetic grip to the keyboard stand. For me, the nice part of the detachable case is that I can continue watching a TV show on a (US) plane during takeoff and landing when you can have a keyboard out or attach it, while still in a case, to a airplane seatback holder on domestic flights. I also appreciate that there is a pencil holder that doesn't add any bulk to the case.

Keys have good travel and don’t feel mushy. The detachable case makes it more practical compared to standard keyboards. Backlight looks great but drains battery faster. Overall, it’s well worth it for those who type often on an iPad.
Simple to use out the box, well made and the case keeps a good hold onto the machine. Stylish and protective.

Probably the hardest part is getting the iPad to fit into the holder. You instinct is to go slow, and that’s warranted as a keyboard is an investment. Like all things apple, this installed and paired rapidly. You power the keyboard on, activate its Bluetooth, then pair in the iPad settings. Works with the apple pencill as well, which easily clips to the top of the iPad for charging and storage. There’s a positive flap that keeps the cover closed. The lights under the keys ‘pulse’ and change color. I like that but I’m sure there’s a setting that either changes color to a specific one or disables all together. I’m typing this review on the new keyboard and all seems to be working great. I have an older 1st gen iPad as well. While 12.9 inches for an iPad Pro, it is not compatible, soo know your iPad gen before ordering. Feels like a laptop.

This keyboard case has transformed how I use my iPad Pro 12.9. The magnetic attachment is incredibly strong yet easy to use - just snap it on and you're ready to go. I love the backlit keys (the purple backlight is my favorite) which have made late-night work sessions so much easier. Last week I was working on a presentation at a coffee shop when someone bumped my table - the magnetic stand held firm with no wobble! The ability to switch between typing and portrait modes is fantastic, and the detachable case means I can leave the keyboard behind when I just want to use the tablet. Keys have great travel and responsiveness, making typing feel natural. For the price, this is absolutely better than Apple's own keyboard options. Highly recommended for anyone looking to boost productivity on their iPad.

The MagicRaven has a weird name, sounds like a D&D character, but onward with the review: This hybrid portable monitor/stand/keyboard is basically my iPad's new best friend. Wireless mode is super convenient when I don’t feel like dragging out cables, and when I need zero lag, USB-C does the trick. The picture looks clean, the colors are solid, and my eyes don’t feel like sand after a few hours. This is the kind of device that Apple should have created for the iPad.
Battery life is around 3 hours with 'normal use', which is fine for quick flights or coffee shop sessions, but it's not an all-day warrior. It also runs a little warm, makes a good lap-warmer in winter, but the opposite in July. On the plus side, it’s slim and light enough to fit in a decent-sized carry-on bag without making me feel like I’m hauling an extra TV.
Pros:
✅ Wireless or wired flexibility. Wired is pretty much mandatory for any gaming; wireless is just too laggy.
✅ Lightweight and portable, within reason; its not a hand-carry item, but small enough to stuff in a carry-on.
✅ Good image quality, easy on the eyes; the screen is bright but not glarey.
Cons:
❌ Battery life could be longer. It's great for pounding out a few emails or filing reports on the road, but don't
expect to watch movies on a six-hour flight without plugging in the power pack.
❌ Gets warm with extended use. It's not hot enough to cook eggs, but it still gets toasty when held in your lap.
❌ Not bright enough outdoors - This is typical of the genre, probably not a problem as the device is intended to be used in an indoor environment.
Recommended: Despite some of the drawbacks listed, it's still a solid travel-friendly monitor that makes dual-screen life possible on the road. Just keep the charger handy and top off the battery whenever possible.

The case is sturdy. Pairing it with the iPad was easy. It's slim, lightweight, and sturdy. 11-color backlit keys, built-in trackpad, magnetic stand, pencil holder. Easy pairing, stable typing, attractive lighting. The Typecase Edge+ offers a compelling blend of functionality and affordability. It delivers a feature-rich experience reminiscent of higher-end options—Magnetic stand, trackpad, backlight, and pencil storage—without the steep price. Build and typing experience earn praise, though battery habits (like leaving it powered on) require a bit of attention.

This keyboard has been a good thing for my iPad. What I like about this is that there is a case and it does cover most of the edges of your iPad. The device itself is held to the keyboard via magnets on the back. The magnetic is pretty strong so you do not have to worry about it slipping out while also making it easy to remove when you need it. You are able to put your apple pen on the back and the pen is secure so you do not have to worry about it falling out. The outer layer is pretty decent material but you can easily get finger prints on it and it get scratched up pretty easily. The pairing process is pretty straightforward. You are able to take the iPad away from the case and stay connected to the keyboard. The keyboard is pretty responsive and I found no lag issue which is great. The keys are well built and I have not seen any issues with them wearing down or the print fading. The back lit keys are not bad and not super bright where they are blinding. The keyboard does use a separate battery and you can use the keyboard while you are charging it. There's no cable to connect your iPad to your keyboard to have it charged thought so it needs to be charge separately. The hinges is pretty strong and supports the weight of the keyboard and iPad. The keyboard is well weighted so it will not fall over from the iPad weight. What I like is that I can also use this on my lap. The thickness is not much between the iPad and keyboard. The cable provided is just a generic cable and nothing special. There is no wall plug to plug into the wall to charge and it is just a cable. Overall the keyboard works great. It is a very durable case i do like there is a case with this one although the case is pretty thin it is better than nothing. The keyboard is responsive and the battery last for quite sometime. I did not need to charge it too frequently. The magnet is strong as well as the hinge. The one issue is that the material is easy to scratch up.

I've been using this keyboard case and it's great for my productivity. The magnetic attachment is seamless, instantly turning my iPad into a portable workstation. It's so easy to attach and detach, which is great for switching between tasks. I can easily switch between horizontal mode for typing and vertical for reading, and the built-in protective shell gives me peace of mind knowing my iPad is safe from drops, even when I’m using it in tablet mode. The quick-set magnetic stand is strong and lets me adjust the screen to a comfortable 135-degree angle.
The comfortable typing experience is excellent, with responsive, well-spaced keys that feel great. I love the backlight options and adjustable brightness levels, which are perfect for working in any environment. The support for native iPadOS gestures and the "click anywhere" trackpad make navigating and multitasking simple.

Excellent keyboard case all the way around.
Set up is simple. Connectivity is no issue. The magnets are strong, so there is no slipping or broken iPad. You essentially are up and running as though your iPad is a laptop in a matter of minutes.
The case is well made and the appropriate size. It is a little heavy, but I am okay with that. The keyboard is very responsive with no lag.

I got this iPad case for my dad, who uses his tablet daily, and he loves it. The build is sturdy, the design is sleek, and it adds a whole new level of functionality. He’s been having a blast figuring out all the features (the magnetic stand and backlit keyboard especially caught his attention), and it’s held up great so far. It gives his iPad the feel of a full setup while still being portable. Definitely a thoughtful upgrade for anyone who wants both protection and productivity in one smart design. Definitely recommend!
