Great quality product. For the price it is perfect. Sometimes the trackpad can be a little bit difficult to us. But the keyboard is over my expectation

I had to return one as I did not see the small print about the correct iPad. Appreciated the help from the representative of the company and his ability to tell me which one to buy. I only wish the one I got also had the back lit keys like the original incorrect purchase. Works well. Easy to connect via bluetooth. Would have given five stars if had a back light.

It’s so convenient and it fits perfectly. It’s lightweight and the look is very sleek as well.

The overall quality of this keyboard is fine. I wore my magic keyboard out and needed to replace it. The price of this keyboard was roughly half of a new magic keyboard. All in all, this keyboard replace all this. A couple of things to note is that you have to charge the iPad and the keyboard separately instead of having one port that does both. Also... you have to wake the keyboard up instead of it being always on. These are not deal killers but some keen differences I didn't consider when purchasing. I might have purchased anyway, but these differences were noted immediately upon use.

Great product there's not much to say about it. It's I like the keyboard the functionality it's easy to type. You can adjust the back a little bit and the magnet works great so far.

I originally bought this for myself. Then my daughter acquired it somehow. It’s a nice case w/ keyboard but it does suck to have another thing to charge. If you don’t mind that, then this would be good. Price is a bit expensive though.

Honestly worth the price. Being able to have my iPad look and feel like a laptop, while still running the iPadOS I’m comfortable with is awesome. I love that it’s magnetic vs a case system so I can fully remove my iPad with ease. The pink color is adorable and matches my entire computer room aesthetic. The backlit keys are great and the overall function from the case is better than I expected. It’s very sturdy and doesn’t move positions when you hold it in your lap.

I highly recommend this keyboard/case combo. This is exactly what I have been looking for (after buying three others including the Apple version) and I absolutely love it! Connection is smooth, the angles the iPad tilts are great, and I love the color!

I really like the lighted keyboard. The flap that goes over from front to back keeps my Zagg pencil from falling out. Battery life seems nominal.

Works well for the price, about half the cost of Apples Magic Keyboard. It’s not as well balanced as the Apple version & you have to charge it separately.

I went with this brand mostly for the color choices but also number of sales and positive reviews. It’s a game changer for my iPad. It’s a little heavy but not bad. iPad has slipped off magnet once or twice but again not bad. Arrived quickly. Easy to set up. Would totally recommend.

Got this one after trying 2 others. This one is GREAT. The magnet on the back holds your iPad securely, there’s a loop that helps contain your Apple Pencil on while you’re transporting your ipad to a different location or just holds it in place. The keys are AWESOME! Brightly lit, easy to type on especially if you’re a touch typist. The lighted keys make it easy to see in dimly lit areas. The touch pad is super sensitive (just like an Apple Magic Keyboard). PLUS there’s the extra row of keys at the top that Apple doesn’t have that makes the keyboard extra functional. This on is a keeper for sure. The battery stays charged for a long time too. Doesn’t wear down in a matter of a couple hours use. I could easily go for 2-3 weeks without charging (although I don’t in case of urgency). No lag and connected super easy with my 3rd generation iPad. Great product. Will definitely be buying an extra for a reaplacement for later. Don’t want to take a chance they aren’t available down the road again like I did my first one. Worth every penny.

UPDATE: The seller contacted me and fully replaced the keyboard with a new one at no charge. They shipped it quickly and the new case works perfectly. Customer service was excellent and I am very pleased at this point. Beautiful case—love the color (burgundy). And I didn’t find it too heavy as some have stated. But unfortunately I’m typing this review using the iPad popup keyboard because the top line of keys—QWERTY…stopped working. I’ve plugged it in to recharge it and have tried everything to get it to work. Purchased in April and it’s August. Guess I’ll be heading to the Apple Store to replace this. Unhappy because I have a number of deadlines this week. To the manufacturer—please work on this! Loved this up until today!

Perfect fit for my 6th gen iPad Pro 12.9. It’s everything i wish the Magic Keyboard was at less than half the price. I love that the keyboard itself is rechargeable, saves my iPad battery from giving it power. The henge isn’t as strong as apples but it gets the job done. I love that the keys are more tactile and have different back lit color options. The pencil holder is also a nice touch. I am someone who does not like to have their pencil charging all the time and i like that it has a magnetic flap to secure the pencil when closed (something apple should really consider adding) The on off switch and function keys are also a nice touch. I also love that it comes in pink. For the price it is pretty sturdy and the track pad supports apples gestures. Overall a great alternative to the apple Magic Keyboard

I love this! The magnet is strong, which means that my iPad stays in place. The keypad and iPad angle are comfortable for taking notes, even sitting on my lap. I bought this for taking notes at a 3 day convention and had absolutely no issues.

Easy set up. IPad fits nicely on the stand and the keyboard is easy to use. Good product.

I love this keyboard. It works perfectly for me. It’s just the right size for my hands and the backlit keyboard is a nice addition. I find I use this tablet more than my main computer….I wish I had this keyboard long before now. I’m extremely happy with this product.

I am updating this review- although I had problems with the iPad not staying in place and balance…TypeCase contacted me immediately to rectify the situation. I was so surprised, the only delay was me replying! Its so unusual today to find a quality product with an outstanding manufacturer that cares about its customers. I highly recommend TypeCase and their selection.

Purchased for my husband. He owns his own business and uses his iPad for a lot. The keyboard has worked great for all his needs. We also have kids that have knocked it to the ground and the case has protected the iPad well. I would purchase again

I have used an older version of this case for a number of years, and my only complaint about it was the constant need to turn off the touchpad every time it woke up. More on that below. This case/keyboard is solid, and for some that means heavy. The weight helps stabilize the thing with an iPad attached, and the double-hinge design places the iPad weight a bit forward, which also helps stability. You probably won't poke this over backward. I mention that because I've had case/keyboards where the iPad leans back from the bottom and rests on a support that doesn't even come halfway up the iPad's back. And several times I lost control of the iPad and it crashed to the floor. That's why I was looking only at the double-hinge designs like this one. The keys have a nice feel, and the backlighting is fine (just like the older version). There is a forward-delete key above the backspace key, and for me that's a bit of a requirement, too. There are key combinations for many functions, and you get key-combo help on whatever app you're in. And, there are key combos for a selection of common Greek symbols, if you use those much. There is a little key-combo cheat sheet to the left of the trackpad, but I have to admit that it's too small and dim for my eyes. Also, the instruction booklet lists all of the key combos, but the print in the instruction book is too small for me to read unaided. That's common these days. Anyway, bottom line is that I like the keyboard in my required double-hinge configuration, and I'm happy with the purchase. Some people worry about the magnet strength. Make sure your iPad fits; mine's a 12.9 with no other case on its back. I will say that before you close the iPad down on the keyboard, you should push it back to its furthest reach. If you don't, it might knock the iPad loose from the magnetic back. It's not that the mags are weak, but it's the leverage you apply if there isn't sufficient room to close it down. Now let me carp a bit about the touchpad. I know some people live on the touchpad, but I'd prefer that it not be there at all. But every case/keyboard of this type [double-hinged] has a trackpad, and some of them have no way to disable it. Apparently, most people are not interested in disabling the trackpad as a feature, because in all the product descriptions and the glossy advert material it's never mentioned. So, I asked Amazon-world if it was possible. No users responded, but the manufacturer did! Yes, it can be disabled. It's now an fn- function, whereas before it was its own key in the right-option position. The rep even took a reply and responded a second time, so I was happy with that interaction. The trackpad does seem to recede when I'm typing even if I haven't disabled it. The disabling seems to last longer now, too. Note: AMAZON FEEDBACK: The first time I ordered this, the wrong product was sent. I simply returned it, saying it was not what I had ordered. I immediately ordered another, this time it was right. Love it, 5 stars. AMZ issued a refund for the first, but later informed me that they'd reverse the refund because I had not returned the correct item. They provided no means of communication, and the chat bot didn't understand. I gave up, so in effect I bought this item twice just to get one. I wish I knew what to do if Amazon delivers the wrong item. Just returning it doesn't work.

Wish it had more flexibility, works well, easy to take off and on

I love the look and feel of this case—the color is beautiful, the backlit keyboard is a great touch, and it fits my setup perfectly. However, the magnetic hold is noticeably weak. After about 20 minutes, the iPad starts to slowly slide down and eventually detaches if I’m not careful. It’s frustrating, especially when you’re in the middle of typing or using it on a slick surface. If the magnet were stronger, this would be a 5-star product. Great aesthetics, but functionally it needs improvement.

Good product. I’ve been using for nearly 1 year. I almost made the mistake of returning it for a cheaper one but the mouse click on this one is so smooth without a lag. I tried to put my Ipad on this with an additional case but the magnet wouldn’t hold as well. With I could find just a rubber bumper nowadays.

Just as described. Easy to set up and to use.I like the back lighted key board and the list of short cuts on the keyboard. Although they are difficult to read. It is heavier than expected. Also it has to be charged separate from the keyboard. But the charge last a long time. It is a good value for the prices. It is sturdy construction and protects the iPad. There is a place for pencil..

I really like this keyboard and case. Only negative I have with it is one plug won’t charge both the iPad and the case. You have to use two separate plugs. Quality of the case is wonderful.

I love this case!! It works awesomely with my 13 inch iPad!! The magnets are pretty strong that hold it on. It has an awesome Apple Pencil holder on it and the keyboard itself types smoothly!! I am glad I invested into this case/keyboard. Very much worth the money you spend! Comes in a really nice protective box as well. Oh yeah! The lighting on the keyboard is cool as well! It is bright and has multiple colors!

Update: After the initial review the customer service contacted me and offered a free replacement. This is more than I expected and the professionalism displayed was a mark above the norm. I would recommend this company as an honest and customer focused vendor. Original review: This worked well, seemed well made but is no longer functioning after 10 months of indoor use. I don’t use it for work, just home with minimal vacation travel. It protected and held the iPad Pro securely. Battery life was good and the backlit keys were welcome in low light situations. However for the price I expected it to last more than 10 months. It is charged showing two blue lights like the unit is on and paired but the iPad doesn’t recognize it and the keys won’t light up. Disappointing.

This item works well. The only issue is the magnetic attachment for the iPad is a little weak.

I owned the original Apple case, and while I liked it, I didn’t like the price. This case provides similar build quality at a much better prices though what’s missing is that it’s not fully integrated. You have to pair the keyboard. You have to charge it. The official Apple product doesn’t require any of that. Plug and play. No charge.

Really amazing keyboard. I've had the Apple Magic Keyboard for the iPad Pro m1 12.9" and these looks and feels really similar. Plus, I love that the keyboard is backlit. Build quality is nice and I haven't had issues with the trackpad either. Only thing that kinda sucks is that the keyboard is Bluetooth, so while your iPad may attach magnetically, there is no magnetic connection. Overall, a great purchase over the $300 Apple one.

She is cute, sturdy cleans up well valued pretty good and holds my pen! And did I say soft? You have to temper to charge it periodically but other than that it’s a win. You can also see the keys in the dark

It does not charge the iPad. It types something and often skips letters. You would do better spending a little more for tge real one.

Amazon initially sent me a return item which wouldn’t charge. When I contacted Amazon customer service, they informed me they couldn’t send a replacement, however Typecase then messaged me directly so they could provide a replacement :) amazing customer service! They kept in contact until I received my product and ensure that I received a new one! The quality is very good: there is a holder for my pen and the magnetic case is strong enough to hold up my iPad without difficulty! It’s very sturdy. 10/10 would recommend this product!

I love this keyboard! Battery life is amazing. Truthfully I always forget to turn keyboard off, and it has lasted me months without charging. Love the touch of the keys. Just get it! U will love it.

The keys are comfortable to type on, but the trackpad feels a little too stiff for my liking when clicking. Hopefully it breaks in a bit over time. The main hinge mechanism is also quite stiff, but no complaints here, because it keeps the iPad firmly in place when typing. No issues with magnets as some other reviews mentioned. The RGB backlight and shine through keycaps work well and are essential if you often type in a dark room. Overall, this is a solid, more affordable alternative to the Magic Keyboard.

Works perfectly, the magnets secured the ipad and blutooth keyboard connects quickly. The keyboard is responsive almost no lag. The color is true to the image and it feels sturdy. The cover also allows the Ipad to bend if your lying in bend or working at a desk. It is a little heavy, but no biggie.

After searching Amazon for awhile I decided to purchase this Typecase Edge keyboard case for my 13” IPad Air M3 2025 model. The case seemed to have matched my preferences as to the functionality and design I was looking for. I would like to start with why I gave this product a 4 star rating even though if you look at my 2 basic pictures the word REPLACEMENT (y) seems to be misspelled smh lol. I wasn’t sure what to expect when I received this case as far as the quality since the price was inexpensive. I would like to say for the short time that I played around with it however I was impressed with everything about it. The function, weight, strength of magnets, Bluetooth, thickness, looks, feel and nice backlighting of the case/keyboard were great. When I purchase something the last thing I want to do is return it for a refund sometimes you have to get a replaycement (haha) due to damage during shipment or another reason that may be no one persons fault. Unfortunately in this particular case I had to do that and that is the reason I gave it 4 stars not 5. The product is 5 stars in my opinion but the description and listing deserve a zero. In multiple pictures and the video it shows the iPod in both horizontal and vertical positioning which was a main selling point to me I was very interested in being able to use in the vertical position. After I reached out to customer service like it says to do in the instructions inside the box they had said it is not able to be used in the vertical position and when I asked why does it show pictures in that position and explain to them some of the apps, games and etc that I enjoyed were not supported in landscape mode or horizontal there response was what apps are they and my response was does it matter. Anyway in my opinion this is a good bang for the buck but just not for me and I hope all this blabbing was helpful to someone so you don’t end up waiting however long for the expedited refund that customer support has finally said was issued after a lengthy back and forth.

This is amazing! Some hot chocolate spilled over it, but still works but that region the leds got lil bit weaker. My fault!! The mousepad is cool, but it has a very loud click that doesn’t work with a double-tap. I am okay with that, but sometimes is annoying.

I’ve had this keyboard for a year and a half, and have used it daily. Yes, it’s heavy, but that’s fine with me. It’s very sturdy, and the magnet that holds my ipad in place is very strong. It still works beautifully, but it’s just beat-up looking now. I figured I’d get another keyboard for use out in public, but went with a cheaper option this time. I didn’t realize how good I had it before! The cheaper keyboard feels flimsier and literally wobbles when I’m typing on my lap. My ipad also just falls off when I go to close the keyboard. And some of the keys are overly sensitive and end up giving me a whole bunch of extra letters. I should have just paid a little more for the quality I’ve been used to with my beautiful (well, not so beautiful any more with all the use it’s gotten, haha) burgundy keyboard! I still use it at home, though. This thing feels like it’ll keep on going for years!

Fantastic product. Significantly cheaper than the Apple equivalent and has even more features… my only drawback is that you need to charge the case separately from my iPad but it’s not really that big of an inconvenience. I love the colored light options and it protects the iPad and pencil really well.. Would definitely buy again in the future….

I have zero complaints about this keyboard!! It hods my 2025 iPad air M3 well, typing is perfect and it's soooo pretty. I bought the smaller version two years ago for my iPad 10th Gen and loved it somuch I had to have this one when I upgraded. And it's a fraction of the cost of the name brand one!!
