The keyboard works great and stays charged for a long time. One of the edges did Crack so it does not stay in as tight as it should but could be from it being dropped. Overall a good item

Great case wish we would have purchased the insurance and or offered replacement parts since we broke a really small piece.

This thing is incredible!!! So funny, just the other day I was thinking that I wished they would make a MacBook mini…. I had this on order around the same time and didn’t think to much about it, as I started using it I realized this essentially turns my iPad into a MacBook mini, with pen retainer slot where it doesn’t fall out, touchscreen capability bc of the iPad, and all other iPad functionality to include tablet capabilities due to the adjustable keyboard location. Bluetooth connectivity is flawless and I have used it along with a stand in my car.

No estorba y lo protege muy bien, el único detalle es que debes acoplarte al nuevo tamaño del teclado ya que aveces me equivoco porque estoy acostumbrado al teclado normal…. Pero en si la funda teclado funciona súper bien y fácil de configurar (pongan bien atención a la hora de ponerle la funda porque las instrucciones son confusas, primero se mete la parte superior y después solo haces precios hacia abajo) en las instrucciones dice que es al revés.

Amazing. Protects your iPad Mini A17, gives you a compact keyboard for typing longer documents, stores the Pencil brilliantly, enables you to position your iPad any way you like without another stand, and charges via USBc (instead of the micro that so many of these external keyboards are still using). The hinge is stiff at first, so you may not think it folds and rotates the way it's advertised, but use it a bit to loosen it up and it'll works perfectly. I'm not sure I've ever been so giddy about a purchase in my life. Buy it!

Great fit and beautiful backlighting for the keyboard. The only problem I found is that when opening up the case to use the keyboard, the back (where the iPad is fitted) is a bit too heavy and causes the device to fall backwards. It’s a bit inconvenient but still a great product and the best case/keyboard I’ve bought and used for my iPad so far.

Great product. Battery lasts a lot. A little stiff so it’s kind of difficult to move the ipad around.

I love this little gadget!!! Makes my IPad mini so user friendly since I’m used to working on a regular keyboard all the time. The ability to use it in basic IPad form is great too and has a place to store an “Ipen” is handy to keep everything in one spot. Holds a charge for quite a while and backlit keyboard is helpful for me too. Anywoooo - FAB find for me. I love it!

It’s a great case compact and has a secure holder for your I pen. It can get a bitcoin trying to use all the different positions the key board cand be used in. Great functioning key pad easy to type on. It has a sticker on the keyboard. It’s a reference for using the keypad. The price was worth it. After using several different cases. I think this case is a keeper. Personalize the cover I had my name monogrammed so if it is lost I can find it easily. I also installed a tracker.

Really impressed by this case/keypad. Works as well as any iPad prop I have seen in addition to the keyboard function. In spite of small size the keyboard is very natural and functional

I love this keyboard case for my ipad mini7. I have relatively small fingers so I dont have any issues with its key size. I have found myself using the touchpad almost never though. The case does connect immediately and has a good battery life. I have dropped my ipad a few times and it has definitely protected my ipad. The only issue I have found is that the swivel does not stay and spins a little too easily. I have had this case for almost a year and it still functions great

This device looks great and gives my iPad mini a whole dimension of extra functionality with all those keyboard and touchpad shortcuts! Pairing it is straight-forward, and once it's paired one can see the exact charging level on the widget page (a critical low charging status LED is on the keyboard). I think the lower key row could be improved by moving the cursor keys down (next to the touch pad), and with the extra keys possible remove the necessity to use a modifier to get a single quote. Also, a small keyboard on/off status light (green: on, no light: off) would be great, as it’s easy to forget to turn off the device after use. Two gripes: - The open/close hinge is extremely tight which, puts a lot of stress on the materials. I'd say it's about twice as tight as it needs to be to hold in place, and not adjustable - The advertised auto-sleep/auto-wake does not appear to work: Upon closing both keyboard and screen are still on, which one can easily discover under a blanket. They will of course sleep eventually, but that is just a function of timeout, not of closing. Upon waking up the screen does not come on, either (though that's easily addressed by hitting any key) I saw similar, less expensive keyboards, but this one includes a safe place for the expensive Apple pencil which despite the strong magnetism would otherwise constantly get brushed off upon stuffing the whole thing into a bag.

Great product! Easy to use, holds charge for a very long time, folds and rotates with ease- keys are easy to navigate and light up- the handy quick grab (cheat sheet) that comes printed on a sticker is a great quick guide to the questions you didn’t know you had, like switching the colors back-lit, and turning on or off the track/mouse pad, and what combination in the keys for this or that etc. If you have a mini- get this keyboard.

I have only been using the product for a few days. So far, it serves as a protective device, as well as a key board. The key board is smaller to fit the size of the IPad Mini - so that takes some getting used to. However, I am now carrying my office files conveniently in my purse. It’s is great for returning emails and working on documents on the go. I love it!

This works great for me. My mini IPad is now a very small laptop that fits in my day pack perfectly.

An excellent keyboard for the iPad mini 6. Easy connection via bluetooth and the charge lasts several months. I also like that the usb port is the same as the port for the iPad mini. There are a couple of keyboard oddities though, like to use an apostrophe you have to use fn + o and quotation marks are fn + p. Otherwise, it's pretty great. I use it every day with the iPad mini 6

The keyboard is too small for a man’s hand, but it may be more appropriate for an adolescent or a female to use it and type like they were used to typing on a keyboard I am very satisfied with the product that was delivered, no complaints

This was the best keyboard I could’ve imagined. Track pad isn’t quite like the Magic Keyboard, but in terms of portability, fit, and utility, this is awesome. It folds flat too! For the price, this rules. Mini laptop!

This keyboard cases fut the iPad mini 6 perfectly! Works great! Just have t earn placement of certain punctuation marks. Other than that, I am reallly enjoying this case!! Took it on a trip this past weekend and felt like I had my computer with me! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I have had this keyboard for months now. Dropped it many times and it has held strong and protected my mini IPAD from harm. Love the light up keyboard. Although it does take a bit of time to get used to the key locations due to its size…Has a strong battery life and the versatility of the angles that you can put your IPAD in for whatever your doing never lets me down. Would purchase again.

Good but you need to make sure your pen fits, I had to cut a slot for the tip.

I have had an iPad mini for years and it is very hard to find a case that I like. This one is sturdy, attractive and the keyboard lights up. It is easy to turn lit keyboard on and off. The company even has a little cheat sheet below the keyboard. It has a long battery life. I don't have to recharge it for several weeks. The top rotates . It will hold a stylus.The only thing that takes a little time to adjust to is using a comma or quote marks (fn +o or p). It has a mouse, which I rarely use, but it does not take away too much space for the keyboard . I have used it for 3 notes now and I am very satisfied.

I love this keyboard! It is easy to use and works very well with my iPad mini. The keyboard is backlit and very responsive. It was easy to get it connected to my iPad. It also holds the iPad firmly and it is sturdy. You can charge either the keyboard or iPad as you use them both. I think it’s a good value for what I paid for it.

i was at the verge of trading in my mini for the bigger screen air so that i could get a magic keyboard….but then, i stumbled upon this product. Ah, the JOY!!! i was skeptical about its quality and build after placing the order but was not disappointed - good quality, build and design. you can adjust the trackpad sensitivity in the ipad setting along with the scroll speed, the backlight for the keyboard and the shortcuts all work just like you were using a mac. i would recommend this product 100% for anyone looking for a thirst party magic keyboard for their ipad mini 6 or 7 - Apple doesn’t sell magic keyboards for the mini!!! it has a little slot for storing your pencil too

Works great! No glitches and easy to charge the keyboard (separately from iPad). Space for pencil, which is also nice. Swivel makes this keyboard function like a tablet when needed. Only complaint, which is minor, is the case hinge is stiff but also necessary to the swivel functionality.

Super easy to install and works well with my iPad.

Shipped quickly. Rather heavy. Had a hard time figuring out punctuation, for instance, on the keyboard.

I just bought the newest iPad and wanted a keyboard that was not on the screen I looked around and read the reviews and decided on the typecast because it had the most positive reviews. I'm not proficient on the tech devices but I do like the ability that these devices offer. I'm a slow learner on the tricks and shortcuts but basically I can get by with general knowledge. So based on my ability I really like this keyboard. The back light is nice, the sensitivity on the track pad is fine and the keys are nicely laid out so I can prettywell type what I need to without too much trouble, Auto correct helps with the punctuation so I like that. The Case supports the Ipad very nicely and is stiff enough to keep the Ipad in place where you want it. The case also protects the iPad and the pencil as well. Connection via bluetooth was simple and charging is a breeze. It does shut off the iPad when closed but the Ipad is still powered up so when shutting down I power off the Ipad and shut off the keyboard and that works just fine. This is a really nice case in my opinion and I would recommend it to a friend.

Agree with most of the other reviews. A couple of additional notes: - The keyboard is really small. I am not a touch typist, so not as a big issue. But I still find myself watching where my fingers go on the keyboard. Even with that, still making mistakes. Auto completion definitely helps. - The lid is really tight. When I first got it, I thought I was breaking the case every time I opened it. - The case more than doubles the weight. The iPad mini is .65 pounds. The iPad combined with the case is 677g or 1.49 pounds. This makes regular use of the iPad, holding it in your hands, a lot more tiring. It will be the only reason for me to return the case (have not decided yet). The keyboard and case combo is good if you have a surface to rest it on. Holding it may prove to be tiring after a while.

Many of the shift+keys are not correct on my iPad mini A17. For example the Shift+2 does not give an @ symbol. This is one that I cannot live without. Also, not sure how to get. a ?. There are Many additional inconsistances. The case it self is very nice, and the key board easy to use. UPDATE I contacted the company and was sent instructions to fix the issue. I had to reset the keyboard on my ipad to English instead of English/Spanish. After that it all worked well.

Good working with IPad Mini. Stiff opening cover, and heavy but Mini seems well protected. Easily and quickly connected.

This keyboard while a bit large in footprint allows for a good deal of configuration in how you use it. Including folding into the rear of the IPAD and allowing it to be used as a pad. The backlighting of the keyboard is especially helpful in darker envrinoments. My only quibble is that when the keyboard is flat on a desktop and the IPAD is tilted toward the rear it becomes unbalanced too early, that is at 45 degrees or so. Removing the Apple pencil from it's holder (on top) gives the IPAD a slightly greater ange of viewing but not quite enough for my tastes. There are quite a few shortcuts built into the use of the keyboard that are terrific though there's a definite learning curve to learning all of them. I'm happy with the product and would gladly buy it again in it's iteration if my criticism above results in a change to the tilt angle.

Colorful lighting in keyboard

I needed a quick solution for a conference I'm attending and didn't want to carry my laptop around for three days. To be honest, I've used several keyboards designed for the iPad, and have never really found them as a functional replacement for a laptop. This keyboard totally changes this. It makes my ipad mini a pretty high-functioning device for taking notes and switching between apps. I really like it. The only complaint I have is the balance. The ipad is heavier than the keyboard, so it tends to be unstable. With a little messing around, you can find the sweet spot.

Very nice case. Fits iPad mini well. USB -C is convenient. Balance can be better if you lean back the svcreen too much.

The negative reviews I’ve seen for the keyboard seem unfair because the keyboard is obviously small as this is the iPad mini. But this little case is amazing. It’s got 7 different positions, it’s durable and it works seamlessly with the iPad. I’m mad I didn’t but this sooner. It’s worth the money hands down. Don’t look at any other device.

It works just fine majority of the time but sometimes the trackpad freezes or doesn't work. Every once in awhile it doesn't respond to touch ( yes I did up the sensitivity) and I would have to keep trying again for it. But other than that it seems to be working fine so far.

Follow the instructions and make sure that in settings the keyboard shows up in Bluetooth and everything works if it doesn't check the settings. Remember it's a small keyboard so it takes a little time to get used to. I'm very satisfied with the keyboard and case.

I'm writing a review of this product, because after just purchasing an iPad mini 6th generation to replace my old iPad mini, I found looking for a keyboard case very confusing. People complained about the keyboard being small. My hands are average for a woman, and I found the key size average as well, with good touch and no key lagging or duplicate letters. The keyboard layout is more or less typical. Being forewarned by reviews that the apostrophe and quotation marks were difficult to maneuver, I referenced the brief user manual that comes with the case, and found I could negotiate it. It does take some back and forth referencing of the manual to learn all the options, but I think could be memorized in a reasonable amount of time. I appreciated the backlighting, which I never had on an iPad. I haven't used the track bar yet other than to turn it on and move about a page, so will update if I find any undue sensitivity from it which some users mentioned. I don't find the case too heavy- somewhere between the Zagg regular iPad (quite heavy) and the Onhi (nice and light and sturdy but not made for the 6). The hinge is sturdy, the top doesn't tip backwards when you have it open. The bluetooth pairing is the easiest of any iPad I have had. Overall, I really like this case and have found adapting to it pretty easy.

Keyboard is small and takes some getting used to

Was looking for something to adapt my iPad to, so it would be more user friendly for typing. This is an easy-to-use key pad and case that’s very simple to setup. I’m not sure it’s worth the price, but it’s functional for my needs.

Makes mini a laptop

This keyboard has a great quality and a feel that it will keep your pad protected when covered. Responsive keys with a nice touch. Obviously it’s smaller so if you have large hands or fat fingers a bit more care should be taken when it’s something important. Stiff turning mechanism so when it pad mode the position stays put. The pencil holder works great and may be my favorite aspect of the keyboard.

This is a nice case and the Ipad fits in it very well. The keyboard is easy to use and performs as described. There is also a place for an Ipad Pencil. The case twists on an axis and folds flat which makes it easy to read a book or document. I am happy with this purchase.

Why didn’ti get this sooner. How did I supervise without a keyboard while using my iPad

I’ve had a iPad mini 6 for about 2 years now and I never needed a keyboard until now. Previously I’ve only used it as a e-reader and web browsing. I like the size due to convenience. I’m now taking online college courses and essays having to be a part of the weekly assignments. I did some research trying to see which keyboard may work the best for me. Price played a factor, especially being a student. The other keyboards I’ve seen were good options, although the two things that sold me on this being my final choice, would be three things - The backlight on the keyboard, the stable keyboard that doesn’t need to solely rely on a flat top table for it to be comfortable for me and the pencil holder. I need the backlight as I do some school work while my significant other sleeps, and I especially prefer to have lighting on my keyboard that just so happens I can adjust to the mood I’m feeling. The stable keyboard is also a selling point for me, because at times I don’t have a flat top area to place it. The pencil holder that doesn’t let the pencil hang free-Willy. The only “cons" I have would be the size, it’s definitely something to get used to, but then I realized, of course I do, it’s a iPad MINI. I also prefer the keyboard and mouse pad to be more quiet. Although, for the price compared to others, iis great.

I liked it as a keyboard yet also is a protector case all in one. My laptop had broken and I had not yet gotten new one when I purchased this. Having a mini iPad with this key board is for perfect for on the go. It was easy to set up and easy to use. Especial like the various key back light color options.

No surprises with this case - think about the size of your iPad mini then imagine a keyboard compressed into that size. You get a high quality product with the typecase touch but you don;t necessarily get an easy product. The extremely compact form can make typing a true challenge. If you must have a keyboard for your iPad mini and it must be part of your mini’s case this is a great solution. It is definitely a solution you will need to practice with though.

This mostly meets my need with the integrated trackpad. As expected the keyboard is a little cramped so expect some typos. Also like the secure storage of the pencil. Overall seems like it will work.

I waited for a couple weeks to write a review, this keyboard is great. It’s small, but its for an iPad mini, I don’t know why people are complaining about the size, get a laptop then, the battery works great, the slot for the pen is the perfect accent to this case, it is versatile and sturdy. I initially charged the keyboard as soon as it arrived and it was still working a week later after minimal use. The last keyboard I had purchased doesn't hold a candle to this one, and it ended up in the trash.

This keyboard works great! The battery Lasts a long time and it is fairly easy to use considering it is the size of the iPad Mini (I have large hands and can use this easily once I got used to it.) Other reviewers have noted that if you open like a laptop that it tends to fall over backwards but this is really isn’t a problem for me. I just keep my hands on it like I’m typing. Overall good value for the money and makes the iPad mini really useful- particularly when you consider it holds your Apple Pencil too!

I have an iPad mini 6 gen and I have followed the instructions but am still very disappointed with the mouse. I don’t think it’s the item, but the iPad mini not being meant to enable scrolling like the pro and air did in anticipation of the magic key board. The keyboard and case itself is very well made albeit a little heavy. But it feels durable and sleek. The pen is very easy to pop in and out but still remains secure. If using the mouse over the keyboard is not a big deal to you I recommend this device. If it is you probably need to upgrade your tablet.

I would absolutely recommend this to anyone searching for a solid keyboard with a trackpad. I am a nurse and I use my iPad to do some charting from home when I get calls from work. This works perfectly to do that.

Good lil keyboard with seemingly strong rotating hinge on the ipad case itself but the keyboard takes a bit to get used too! The keyboard has different color options when it comes down to backlight and also has a trackpad.

Love the keyboard real keys. Mouse pad is okay but I read the reviews and I see what people mean about that. Ahem. Lol. I'll just let this slide for now. BUT I WAS LOOKING FOR a LIGHTWEIGHT KEYBOARD AND HERE IT IS. returning the other I bought. Was cute pink but was way heavy. I appreciate this. I got the gray and it's classy. Thanks! Exactly what I wanted for my iPad mini

Perfect fit feels really sturdy, keyboard is responsive and backlit keyboard is a nice touch. Others have complained about the finish rubbing off but I haven’t had any issues. Only complaint is the 2 finger scrolling is the opposite of laptops and I can’t seem to change the settings. Great purchase!

It looks like a mini laptop! Works great. The lid is a little hard to turn and close, you have to use a little bit of force but other than that it works great. It has a sticker that tells you how to set it up. Exactly what I needed.
