Best โcaseโ Iโve had for my tablet. Iโve owned it now for about two weeks maybe longer, the keyboard and track pad are nice, lights on keyboard are bright and visible, magnets that hold the iPad are strong. Your iPad will not fall off during normal use. Closes to a nice compact size as well. Keyboard doesnโt leave imprints on screen when closed. 10/10 super pleased with this purchase, with a usb hub with passthrough charging its great. itโs as good as the Apple keyboard minus the ability to charge via magnets.

Itโs like a 4.5 star but no option. Iโm definitely enjoying it. Itโs a great change from my black apple Magic Keyboard and I was tired of the white one because I completely trash white. Iโm too hard on stuff
Itโs almost the same as my phone accidentally bug I love it not being black. I can actually find it and I love not having to lose the pencil for the pro m4 iPad constantly. That is a game changer
I change the case at night with my iPad and Iโve never had a single issue with it dying and Iโm a realtor and my husband says my iPad is superglued to me. Itโs not an untrue statement. More than phone. M
Ir would be absolutely 100% 10 star โญ๏ธ if it was lighter. Ifs the lightest one I did so much research. Thereโs one other that a tiny bit lighter and I night it also. To be fair, I swear the iPad Pro m4 256g is way heavier than last one. Apple pro or (4th gen)
But being a realtor, I live and dje with the iPad. Contracts mls you name it. Everything and it goes everywhere. And in my large purse so itโs kinda an issue but I am not changing a thing. I wish there was more colors too.
Itโs practically 5 stars. And the keyboard lights are great.
I definitely recommend it. Itโs a better buy than the Apple one. I have both.

Considero que es de buena calidad, fuerte y facil de usar

I like it BUT the IPAD is only held on magnetically so does sometimes fall off when Iโm adjusting it and you can only view horizontally. I sometimes want to look at something vertically for a better view and have to remove it from the case to do so

I've used both the Apple Magic Keyboard case and this Typecase alternative side by side on 2 different iPads so I have direct apples-to-apples, (heh) comparison. The major differences revolve around 2 things:
1. The Typecase version connects to the iPad via bluetooth whereas the Apple version connects to data and power magnetically. This means that the Typecase has an internal battery that must be charged, whereas the Apple Magic Keyboard case gets its power from the iPad itself. Also, the Apple version wakes immediately when you start to type. The Typecase goes to sleep fairly quickly, presumably to preserve battery life. Pausing to think what to type next isn't bad, but if you take a call or have to step away for more than a minute or so you'll have to tap a few keys to wake it up.
Also, on the Apple version, you're able to plug power into either the Apple keyboard case or the iPad itself. If you plug into the case it will charge the iPad magnetically. Handy, since the USB-C connections for the iPad and Apple case are on opposite sides when in "work mode" so you can plug into whichever one is most convenient for your setup. The Typecase version has a separate USB-C charge port and does not provide power to, or get power from, the iPad. If the keyboard and iPad were both dead you'd need to plug in 2 things to charge. Not one. Not a huge deal, but worth mentioning.
2. The Apple build quality is, as usual, meticulous. Magnets are strong, the touchpad is capacitive, (not with a physical switch but haptic feedback like the MacBook line and Magic Trackpad) the keys are brightly lit, and everything feels like it will last for years.
So, is the Typecase badly made? Absolutely NOT. It's actually very well made, especially for the price point. More on that below. The Apple hinge is a little smoother and holds its position better and the Typecase is just slightly looser, causing you to have to adjust it more often if you move it around. Sitting untouched on a desk, tho? No problem holding its position. The Typecase is slightly lighter, has OK-but-not-great keyboard feel, (the Apple case typing experience isn't uber-spectacular either, mostly due to the keyboard being smaller than standard due to the iPad size constraints, but it is slightly better than the Typecase) an old school physical click trackpad, (which is completely fine for this use, IMO) and I never felt that the iPad was in danger of falling off the magnets.
The Typecase actually has an extra feature that the Apple versions does not. There's an extra magnetic flap/tab at the top of the case that flips over and both holds the case closed more firmly than just friction, and has a slot to insert your Apple Pencil if you have one. This is really nice as I have had to replace more than one Apple Pencil that fell off the magnetic-only connection that the Apple version uses. If you don't have a Pencil then I wouldn't worry about this feature as, as mentioned above, I never felt the iPad was in danger of falling out of the case, extra flap/tab closed or not.
So, why get the Typecase over the Apple version? 4 words: "Bang for the Buck". My very arbitrary rating here is that the Typecase gets about 80% of the way "there" compared with the Apple Magic Keyboard case, but it's roughly 1/3 the price. Easy math. Honestly, if you never own/use an Apple version you'd be incredibly happy and satisfied with the Typecase. It's only side-by-side that you see the extra attention, (some might say OVER attention) to detail Apple spent. Day to day, they both do, basically, the same thing as well as the other but the Typecase is 1/3 the price.
TL;DR: If you have an extra $200-ish to burn, buy the Apple version. If you don't, have no hesitation buying this one. I agonized over not giving this 5 stars, but if there was a 4.5 rating, I'd have used it. The Apple version just barely edges this out on quality and UX, but the Typecase is no slouch and is an excellent bargain. They're both great and, basically, accomplish the same task. Apple just does it a wee bit better for a definitively NOT "wee" price increase.

Do people really not read the description thoroughly when they buy something? You need to read the description and look at the photos and make sure your exact iPad model is one of those listed. I see reviews from people who are obviously using this for an iPad that is not designed for. When using this with the correct iPad it works very well. The magnets are strong enough for the correct iPad. Different iPads have the magnets and different places. That is why you have to get one specific to your iPad. A great design and very functional.

This keyboard is easy to pair with your iPad. If you know how to search for Bluetooth devices, you should have no problem with setting this up. The color of the keyboard is a beautiful mix of magenta and purple. I love that the keyboard is compact, sturdy, rechargeable, and serves as a case for the iPad. This case should protect your iPad from accidental drops.. However, I would be more worried about breaking the keyboard if I were to drop it with the iPad in it. I did not have any difficulties while typing with this keyboard because I have small hands and fingers. I can see where someone who has larger fingers and hands would have significant difficulty with hitting the correct keys while typing. The keys are not completely silent, but they are very quiet. The only loud part is the click of the mouse pad.

Fantastic keyboard cover combo for my tablet. I've always been a big fan of such gadgets since the days when SHARP made a windows ce folding mini computer that could barely run a spreadsheet. Works well with android also. Wasn't heavy like one of the reviews said. I was hesitant because these keyboards, like some of the logitech ones made for Apple devices can get really heavy. Wasn't heavy at all, very manageable. The hinge works great and holds its position. Multi-colored leds. The keys have a good feel. The trackpad is something more to be desired as is the click. It seems the trackpad is always the point of contention when it comes to these aftermarket keyboard covers. The color is superb. Not sure if it's worth $90 though.

I love this case, it is lightweight and works as advertised. The only drawback is when I try to use the stylus, the case doesnโt convert for me to write on a flat surface. So I then have to remove it from the case which increases the likelihood of me dropping it.
GS
This turned my iPad into a laptop! All the keys work just like the keyboard on a MacBook. I really like the lighted key function for typing in the dark. The special function keys work just like a MacBook too. Another thing that makes this keyboard better than most is the way the iPad is held in place by magnets and it hangs in place... like a laptop screen. The old one I was using had to be on a flat surface and was way too floppy. This one is very sturdy.
I've been using it for over a week... several hours a day... and the battery is still holding a charge.
I've used keyboards like this one my last 3 iPads... and this one is about $60 cheaper than the others... and way better.
I highly recommend this keyboard!

I should have read the description better, but this ONLY fits the m4 11" ipads. After reading the box I was hoping it would still fit my 11" ipad pro but it is off by quite a bit so unusable for me. But totally my fault! I LOVE the color of this and the keyboard had a great weight to it. It didn't feel like you were typing on a piece of cheap plastic. Can't attest to the magnetic strength of it because like I said, it did not fit my ipad. I'd grab this in my specific size for sure though!
Oohmynose
This is a great keyboard case for the M4 iPad Pro 11". The video I uploaded shows it next to the Apple Magic Keyboard for comparisonโit's just a bit thicker and slightly heavier, but the iPad itself is so thin that the extra thickness barely registers. The build feels sturdy and premium, and the keyboard/trackpad experience is excellent. There was no adjustment for me between the Magic Keyboard and the Typecase Edge.
At first, I thought the flap that holds the Pencil didnโt magnetically attach to the back when folded overโbut it does! It just lines up cleanly and stays put without fuss. Nice detail.
Overall, this is a really well-made, stylish case (I got the raspberry color) with great backlight options, a strong magnetic stand, and solid protection. Very happy with it.

I have had this iPad pro 2024 11" inch cover and keyboard about a week. So far it works as described in product description. The IPAD pro is to replace my almost 10 year old MacBook Air. Protecting and having a functional keyboard is important to me. This makes it easy to carry with me in my backpack without worries of scratches or worse. It looks nice too. It was super easy to setup and although more $ than others, I feel a good value for money. It feels durable although there is no protection for the cameras. I will update this review if necessary.

The typecase Keyboard Case is the perfect alternative to the Apple Magic Keyboard for your iPad. It stars in the packaging that arrived similar to opening an Apple device. The typecase Keyboard Case has a nice solid weight and build quality to it. The keyboard is tactile and has am incredible 11 color RGB backlight. Pairing was a breeze in once I docked my iPad M4 Pro 11, it detected it in Bluetooth settings and sync right up with no issues. So far in my usage, it hasn't skipped a bit and I beg to question, why spend several hundred on the Apple Keyboard, when you can get this at less than half the price with more features. Overall a super 5 star product that I would highly recommend.

First the good:
The keyboard and case are simple to use and connect to your device. It's about as simple as pairing your earbuds.
The keyboard has a nice amount of travel in the keys. It's better then my surface cover as an example. The keys on mine have a nice "click" when the press "threshold" is met.
The case is thick enough that I am confident that my iPad won't be hurt. Its not too thick as to add bulk without any use.
My device sits nice and firm inside the cover.
Next, the room for improvement:
The case is a little stiff out of the box. Not terrible and certainly useable but, for the money, it's a little surprising.
It's held together magnetically so you're obviously not going to get the "genuine" laptop experience. Personally, I don't see that as a reasonable expectation but it is in the marketing so I thought it worth mentioning.

Arrived fast and safe. Keyboard magnet is strong and can hold the 2024 iPad Pro 11in M4 safe and secured. I am very happy with this purchase. The only thing I would have liked this to have is a way to open up the keyboard completely as it only opens up to a certain degree for you to type in and it cannot double as a case.

Considering that this keyboard case costs only 1/3rd of the price of the OEM 'Magic Keyboard' I can't imagine what you would be getting for that extra $200 expense that this model does not provide. I haven't had personal experience with Apple's keyboard product so I won't be dogmatic, but I will say that this keyboard fits fine, looks very nice, pairs easily and for me so far has been trouble free.
It boasts adjustable backlighting on the keyboard, a track pad that can be toggled off, strong magnets on the rear cover and a base that is hefty enough to prevent tipping over when set on a flat surface. If you are in the market for a keyboard I recommend checking this one out. It has the iPadOS shortcuts 'baked in' for use and even includes a nice little 'cheat-sheet' to those shortcuts on the keyboard itself which is very handy.

Cool design, decently secure, good keyboard:
This product has a sleek design and a cool, unique coloring that makes it look nice while using. The thin design also allows it to fit into a laptop sleave or small backpack without issue. The product's thin profile does mean that it's not fully shock absorbing, but the rigid materials do prevent damage from small drops or bumps and scratches pretty well. Plus, the device has a small magnetic clasp that keeps the product securely closed while handling, making it less likely the tablet will fall out if accidently dropped. The product's keyboard is smooth to type on and the device has very low latency, so there's no lagging or dropping issues with the wireless signal.
Overall, this is a good product and I would recommend.

I've never liked typing on a tablet. This goes way back to the original iPad. It was--as Steve Jobs claimed at the time 'a magical, revolutionary device' but even with the OEM keyboard it was miserable to type on (at least IMO). The keyboard wasn't great but the real problem is that the original iPad iteration just didn't have the specs under the hood to keep up with a reasonably fast typist. You'd type, then wait for the tablet to catch up, type some more and repeat.
That's no longer the case and most decent tablets have no problem keeping up with what is being typed. I still don't like typing on a tablet but my wife does. She wanted a new keyboard/case so I ordered this one for her. She really loved the raspberry color. It looks really cool with some gaming keyboard-esque backlighting and my wife says it works great. That's what really matters to me. Highly recommended!

I recently received the Typecase Keyboard Case for my iPad Pro 11-inch (M4) 2024, and I am absolutely loving it! This keyboard case not only offers excellent protection for my iPad but also enhances my overall user experience with its impressive features.
The 11 colors backlight is a fun and functional addition, making it easy to work in various lighting conditions. The keyboard itself is responsive and comfortable to type on, which has significantly improved my productivity. I also appreciate the built-in multi-touch trackpad, which allows for smooth navigation and makes it feel more like a laptop.
The easy-set magnetic stand is a fantastic feature, providing stability while I work or watch videos. Plus, the pencil holder is super convenient for keeping my Apple Pencil secure and readily accessible.
Overall, I highly recommend the Typecase Keyboard Case for anyone with an iPad Pro 11-inch looking to enhance their device's functionality. It combines style, versatility, and practicality beautifully, and the raspberry color adds a vibrant touch!

A copy of the Magic Pad. At a third of the price. A bit heavy but weights doesnโt hinder anything. Will update if problem arises.
Update 5/9/25โฆ. Hinge failedโฆ. Now itโs useless. Battery never lasted more than 4 days with moderate use.

I have an iPad Pro 11 and I thought this would work. But my iPad is a different model. The company wrote to me and worked to figure out which case I needed. They are sending me a replacement. That is awesome customer service!
Edited to add that the new case came and works perfectly with my iPad. You can choose the backlight color on the version I am using (10.9/11.0 on the box).

The case is great it holds the iPad great and the keyboard and mousepad works with no problem

I bought the raspberry color for my iPad Pro 11 M4 I do love it, it works great, I like that I can change through multiple colors on the keyboard, itโs nice and slim. The buttons seem to be working nice.
The down side to it you do see your finger prints on the outside of the case and and I do wish it would open up further. And if you need to have it turned long ways you canโt have it on it or if you need sign anything on it you have to take it off.

This great works really well with my iPad Pro. I was able to connect easily. The sleek look of the case is very attractive. The outer cover has strong magnets that hold the tablet to the case, and they work well. A backlit keyboard is a must for me in a laptop or a case like this. The keys are customizable with multiple colors which is a fun option. The keys have a nice feel and give a great typing experience. The case even has a trackpad which I appreciated. I like that the case is USB C rechargeable too. This particular case also has a slot for my pencil stylus. Overall, this keyboard case is great quality with a comfortable, customizable keyboard.
Adapt 2 Go
The typecase iPad Pro 11 Case with keyboard is a pretty slick minimalist design! It uses magnetics to hold the iPad in place. The magnets are spread out around the upper case. The Apple Pencil holder is also attracted to the magnetics so a good place to put is on the back near the camera cutout.
Opening the keyboard up was easy from the onset to get into the angle that I wanted. This case was featuring the item that all the other cases were missing which is a magnetic snapping closure to keep the case closed while the iPad is in it. The iPad felt pretty solid in place once I put it into position.
The case weighed around 1.98 lbs so it had some heft to it. The mouse is alright to interact with. The surface felt a bit draggy and not as smooth as I would like.
The backlighting is ok on the device with a range of colors to choose from and it can be turned to three levels of brightness as well as being turned off. I would have liked it more if the backlighting got brighter. It uses USB C connectivity to charge.
The upper inside of the case has a nice felt-like material to protect the iPad surface while the exterior of the case had a nice smooth grippy silicone. The top of the surface area around the keyboard is a nice smooth yet grippy aluminum. There are small silicone nubs at the front of the keyboard surface area to protect the screen from impact.
The keyboard is nice because it is a full-sized keyboard with decent surface area on the keys, but I found that the keys were not placed far enough back from the front of the keyboard resulting in my hand not resting comfortably on the case surface but off the case surface while typing!
While the left and right arrows are full sized, they decided to make the up and down arrows half sized and I donโt like that.
The keyboard has the top row as a dedicated row of shortcut buttons.

The Typecase Edge Keyboard Case for the iPad Pro 11-inch (M4) 2024 is an impressive accessory that enhances both productivity and style. The keyboard feels sturdy and responsive, with 11 colors of backlighting that make typing in low light a breeze. I particularly love the built-in trackpad, which provides a smooth navigation experience and makes multitasking easy. The case also features a convenient pencil holder, so my Apple Pencil is always within reach. The magnetic stand is a nice touch, allowing for easy adjustments to the viewing angle. Overall, this keyboard case is perfect for anyone looking to maximize their iPad's functionality while keeping it stylish. Highly recommend!

typecase Edge Keyboard Case for iPad Pro 11 (M4) 2024, Magic Keyboard with 11-Color Backlight, Multi-Touch Trackpad, Black
Purchased for $109.99, it's currently out of stock. Love the 11-color backlit keys and the lower cost than Apple for a similar product. The only difference is this adds a bit more weight to your iPad than Apple's version but this costs 1/3 the price of Apple. This adds 11-color backlit keys but has to connect via BT. The tradeoffs are worth it for me, it might be for you too! Highly recommended for your iPad Pro!

I've tried many keyboard cases, and this one is the best. It fits my iPad perfectly and is easy to use.
Chard Reviews
This has converted my ipad and made it like a laptop. Its still not a full laptop replacement but its close and will do just about what i need to do with a laptop. This was my goal for this product. The magnet holds my ipad well, and the hinges feel solid when closing and opening the lid. The key strokes has a nice feel to them. The touch pad clicks are somehow made to make a loud noise. I could use little less click from the touch pad, and maybe a more subtle click. Battery performance last a long time. Connecting the keyboard into my ipad bluetooth was instant. Overall, happy with this product and extends the capability and use for my ipad. There is only one thing that bothered me, this is when i fold it close. The ipad doesnt instantly fold flat against the keyboard. I have to give it a little more push around the hinged area to flaten the ipad against the keyboard.

This keyboard case for my 2024 iPad Pro 11 inch has been a fantastic investment. The fit is perfect, and the magnetic clasp is strong and secure. The backlight keys are a standout feature, with various backlight colors to choose from and three brightness levels. This makes it easy to work in any lighting condition.

I was a little skeptical at first when I saw this as it looked to be more of an added weight than a keyboard with a stand which I could use to work while I was away. This definitely proved me wrong after I got it connected as its Bluetooth connection was very stable for as long as I was working for more than 2 hours or so. Although the tactile keystrokes and the spacing are less to be desired, the fact that this fits all with the tablet inside and the magnetic cover on the tablet sitting against all make it the perfect accessory to elevate the function of the work tool, in addition to the streaming device.

Over the past few years, I've used many iPad cases, but none have transformed my experience like this new keyboard case. Here's a comparison between my old case and the new one:
Old Case:
No backlit keys, inconvenient for night use.
Unresponsive trackpad, difficult to operate.
Bulky design, not portable.
New Case:
backlit keys, perfect for night work.
Responsive trackpad, smooth operation.
Lightweight design, easy to carry.
Strong magnetic clasp, adjustable floating cantilever design
This new case is clearly superior. It not only provides great convenience for night work but also enhances the overall user experience. Highly recommend!

This is a well made magnetic keyboard case. The design is sleek and the material is beautifully crafted to make for a great keyboard experience and look. The key travel and backlights work well. The trackpad is responsive and smooth. It's doesn't weigh a lot. Fits well in a bag, is durable and protective. It's a quality magic keyboard alternative that's just as good as the original. This is the second or third time I ordered from this brand for my various iPad needs and the company always delivers and never disappoints.
justanotherbob
Yes, I said it. It is better than the brand name. I'm not caring about the weight, but I will say it is about the same as the previous Magic Keyboard for the M1 11 Pro. I find this one better for two reasons: 1) The backlit keys are helpful for me, and 2) the keyboard. I have a full-sized keyboard without the extra roll of function keys that serves very little purpose for my needs.
This case keeps my Apple Pencil and iPad safe and that matters to me because this is my laptop replacement.
Jenna Hughes
The keyboard case is vert well build and fits my 2024 iPad Pro 11 inch perfectly. The magnetic clasp is strong, the backlit keys are great, and the trackpad is very responsive . The floating cantilever design is a brilliant feature. Lightweight and slim, it's easy to carry around. Highly recommended!

This keyboard is nice for the price you pay, although you donโt get the extra buttons and the trackpad feels nowhere near as smooth as the Magic Keyboard, it is a fraction of the price. The keyboard pairs with Bluetooth as well, which I find a bit annoying since you have to turn it on and off each time you use it rather than just closing the lid, but it pairs very quickly once itโs on and itโs had a solid connection every time Iโve used it. Iโm happy that the trackpad supports tap to click since the click feels very mushy and worse than the Magic Keyboard for the first generation iPad pros. The gestures all work and although you donโt have the new row of buttons like the new Magic Keyboard has, you do have shortcuts and there is even a small sticker key to tell you how to use each shortcut. The colors on the keyboard are really cool and being able to turn the keyboard into basically any color youโd like is a very nice addition, I didnโt get a picture of every color but there are a lot of them. The keyboard has 3 different brightness levels and a pulse mode which changes through all of the colors as it goes. I dont really like the pulse mode since it has to fully dim before it changes to the next color, leaving you basically blind from the keyboard until the next color comes up. The keyboard case is not powered by the iPad using the 3 pin connection like the Apple ones do, but it has lasted quite a while now and the battery hasnโt died yet. You can technically power the keyboard with your iPad but you would have to carry an extra cable and plug the keyboard directly into your iPad leaving no way to charge your iPad and draining your iPad battery at the same time. The keyboard is also a bit heavier and thicker than the magic keyboard but it in no way feels inexpensive. Overall if youโre looking for a keyboard case that is great quality for a lot cheaper than the Apple alternatives, you wonโt be disappointed with this keyboard/trackpad case.
Alex
This keyboard case is fantastic all around, and it feels just as good as its OEM version if not better. It has some weight, so it will add some weight to the iPad, but it is also stable and sturdy. The magnets are very powerful and I'm confident that they will hold by iPad in place as well as keep the case closed. The hinge is very sturdy and I love the floating design. The key feel is excellent, especially for a low-profile keyboard. I am very impressed with how easily and accurately I can type on this keyboard case.
