Ordered the case and it took over a month to arrive because they forgot to mention the color I wanted was out of stock and not in production anymore also this case is mousepadless and they do not emphasize that in the description so it is a bit misleading definitely will not be buying from this company again

Great customer service! My first one didn’t work and wouldn’t charge. I emailed their CS department and they had me send a video of their “try this” and figured out it was a product issue and they sent me a new one right away!

I love it and use it everyday! I like the colors of the keyboard and don't have any issue with key placement. It connected fast to my iPad and comes on where I hit a key and wait a few seconds. It stays charged for a few days after a full charge and with daily use (8 hours). Size is perfect and I love the way it turns my iPad into a laptop and has an Apple pencil holder! Good quality and great price! Highly recommend!

It’s a GREAT keyboard. We have three for the 2nd Gen, iPads — two with touchpads and one without. I prefer the one without the touchpad, but both types are excellent keyboards. Many great features in either version! The only thing I’d recommend to the maker is to make the outside of the case a little rougher - and easier to hold in one hand.

This is a great case. It is a bit heavy but well made, the keys are easy to use and have a good feel, it is sturdy and easy to keep clean. It does not have a track pad which is a huge bonus for me. Without that, the keyboard can take up the whole space. It’s a bit expensive but it really does make the ipad like a little laptop.

Product is everything that it says it will be and it makes doing quick invoicing/taking notesvery easy while I’m in the field

I really like this case/keyboard. I had one that had a touch pad and it was a nuisance so I looked for something without the pad. The keyboard on this case is really nice to use, feels very comfortable and natural. My last case was metal (aluminum, probably) and this one is plastic so not sure how they will compare, very light and easy to carry. My last keyboard (different brand) lost a key and then quit working less than a year in so hopefully this one lasts longer. The price is quite reasonable though. The keyboard battery doesn’t seem to last very long, I always for get to turn it off so need to learn to do that and it should be fine, charges pretty quickly. I do like it enough that I will look for this brand in the future for iPad accessories.

I love this iPad typecase, it works well and my "mini laptop" is very portable. I had to get used to the keyboard itself, the one that I had previously was a bit smaller and I kept hitting the wrong keys until I "adjusted". I use this maybe 3 - 4 hours total per day and only need to recharge every month or so (maybe more, but it is very infrequent, and I also don't use the backlight option very often which probably would cause the battery to drain more quickly). The case also protects my iPad nicely. I DID have an issue where the typecase lagged in connecting to my bluetooth and I was waiting for several seconds to be able to type after I opened a document, but customer service advised me on a factory reset procedure which took care of the problem. Needless to say, their customer service is stellar, I've rarely dealt with a company that had such a high level of responsiveness.

Fabulous! I sent a keyboard back that I didn’t like at all, and purchased this one instead. It keeps my IPad secure when it’s closed, love all of the positions it folds into, and it works great! I highly recommend this keyboard!

This is absolutely wonderful!!! It is so easy to set up and Bluetooth with my iPad. It makes it so I actually want to work on my iPad and it is super functional. I can go from touchscreen to having the keyboard ready so I can use it like a laptop in a matter of seconds. If you are on the fence about buying this GO FOR IT!!!

I love this case! I had a similar one for my previous iPad, but opted for a different one when I got my new iPad. I ended up searching out this type of cover again because it works so much better overall when packing & using my iPad when I travel or at home. The flexible positioning of the iPad and keyboard are a big plus! Sits great on a small airplane tray, too. The case is protective and compact.

The item has been great for protecting my I Pad. I like the way it swivels and is strong enough to stand on it own without having to worry about it falling forward or backwards. . It is the closest I found to match my previous iPad keyboard protector.

I like this but it’s sometimes hard to open and I wish it had a mousepad. I love the color and that it has an holder for my Apple pen as well. It’s durable. I won’t test it out, but I feel like it could survive a few drops to the floor.

This works really well. It connects to the iPad quickly and reliably. The battery lasts a long time. I don't even know how long it will go. I have only charged it a few times. I charge it every month or two. It has never run out. I never use the lighted keyboard.

This is a very sturdy case for mg IPad. It’s for a soothing blue color. It charges easily and holds a charge a long time. It swivels and lets you turn your iPad around. I find it just a little stiff, but I’m hoping that improves with use.

Didn’t realize there’s another one with a mousepad but that’s okay I’d rather use a mouse or pen. If you have the yellow/gold iPad, this case looks great with it. Cool rgb backlight and pencil holder. 360 swivel works good and is stable. Love the new case!

I am very happy with this keyboard case! if shopping for one and trying to decide, look no more. If I could find one fault, is that the keyboard goes idle after just a few minutes and have to hit a key and wait a few seconds for it to wake up. Integrated battery lasts months between charges, and it’s a very sturdy well designed case. The keyboard feels great too!

Packed great and works perfectly. It arrived with a full charge and it paired instantly to my new 2025 iPad (A16). Hope I have a lot of future use without any issues. My iPad is blue and the blue with the keyboard/case is a perfect match. The keys have a wonderful travel and easy to use. It is a lot heavier than the iPad, but together they are easy to carry -- and my wrists are weak. The cutouts for the iPad are perfect. BACKSTORY: When I bought my 5th Generation iPad years ago, I bought a keyboard/case for it and it has lasted flawlessly all these years. The brand was by Yekbee. On the front of the typecase box, it says boldly "Formerly known as Yekbee." No wonder I couldn't find a Yekbee keyboard/case anywhere -- but typecase is it. UPDATE: The case is well balanced with the iPad inserted. The viewing angle is very appropriate. My only negative is that the exterior of the case is very slick -- especially with my old 76-year fingers. Wish the exterior was slightly textured with a rough feeling. UPDATE of Aug. 12, 2025: The battery lasts a long time (days and days), even when left turned ON and the screen is in the closed position. Maybe this is why the company changed its name because my Yekbee keyboard/case for my 5th Generation iPad never had a long battery life.

Purchased when upgraded to newer model iPad. This item feels sturdier than replacement in tablet mode. Although the features seem similar I am finding the keyboard to be more reliable. The keyboard is comfortable for typing with several color backlight options. Holds a charge for months and charges very quickly. Great protection for my investment. I really like this product and have bought this brand in the past.

***EDIT*** Typecase customer service is sending out a replacement. Great customer service on both Amazon and Typecase. Hopefully the replacement lasts longer Loved it when I first got it, but after about 45 days of use it no longer holds a charge. Thankfully Amazon accepted the return after the return window closed. Bummed that this didn’t work because it was exactly what I was looking for

Great fit and works well

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I chose this one because of the price in comparison to others. I do not regret it. Previously I had a different brand for my old iPad and always had problems with it. So far I’ve only charged the keyboard once and I use it nearly daily. The keys are smooth for typing. I’d recommend for anyone looking!

This case did exactly what I needed it to do! I can watch movies, write emails, color by number or send texts by the multifunction of the case.

The case works as expected. You may have to charge the case a few times a year depending on how much you use it with the backing lights on. I use my case daily so I have to charge mine every other month. It fit my iPad great. The Bluetooth synced up just fine. When you’re not using the iPad you have to touch the keyboard to wake it up to use the keyboard. Other than that I’m a happy camper.

The keyboard is perfect for my new iPad!

The keyboard is great for typing. On I write reports for my college coursework and don’t notice a difference in typing with the keyboard on this case and a conventional keyboard. Being able to flip the keyboard around enables me to be able to balance it no matter the conditions. It’s taken bouncing around in my backpack well and the battery life makes it so I don’t have to charge it very often. All around a very positive experience.

Inhave ordered various keyboards and this has been the best so far. Sturdy and good key control and comfort. No mouse pad is far better than ones I've used that did.

The functionality of this case was my favorite of the three I tried. I loved that you can put the iPad in pretty much any position—lie it flat, set it up like a laptop, prop it up to watch movies, etc. it stayed in position really well. The base is not heavy enough to balance the weight of the iPad in laptop position so you have to keep your hand on it but it was much less annoying than I imagined. Not bad. Case held iPad in position well. Keyboard connected easily to iPad and felt easy to type on. Would completely satisfy me except for one big thing—the plastic material of the case feels extremely cheap. I’d be scared it wouldn’t protect the iPad in a fall at all. And it feels more like a child’s toy than a real functional device. Also looks a little cheap.

I rarely write reviews but I had to for this one. I just received my second Flexbook keyboard case (I wore out the first one, had it for years) AFTER I purchased a cheap one that lasted less than two months. My bad, never again as you know, you get what you pay for. I received it in perfect condition but I couldn’t get it to link it to my Bluetooth. Directions provided a toll-free number and on a Saturday yet, I called and spoke with a technician who helped me step by step get it going (if all else fails, turn off Bluetooth and reboot it-I learned something today) I love love my Flexbook! I accidently ordered 2 with the second one coming today. You know what? I’m keeping it, just in case they quit making them! I love how it protects my IPad, it’s tough (I’ve dropped it numerous times) and I love how I can turn it left and right for when my husband wants to see my screen instead of turning the entire unit or having to hand it to him. Best of all, customer service is excellent. I highly recommend this wireless keyboard case. Buy it, you won’t regret it!!

This case is great. I had one before with the track pad… that wasn’t a good feature. But this case is just the keyboard and it work fantastic. The one I got is yellow. It’s a bright solid yellow color perfect! Love this case and it pairs easily.

Exactly what I wanted in an iPad keyboard. Sturdy hinge that allows it to hold any angle. Check. Pivots 360 including into portrait while protecting the keyboard. Check. No touch pad - thank you! I had a similar case from another brand before and the edge of my hand was always brushing the touch pad, sending my cursor flying, so I had to turn off the touchpad feature every time I opened it. I LOVE that this has no touchpad. It feels substantial without being heavy and the keys have a nice feel to them. I’ve only had it a few days but it’s perfect. In case it stops working after the 1 yr warranty I did invest in the extended warranty, thank you Amazon.

Works perfect with my iPad. I do wish it had more protection for accidents but it is worth the money I paid for it.

The keyboard part is lighter then the iPad so the iPad will want to flip back down if you don’t put your hand there. If you lean the screen a little bit forward it’s less of an issue. It doesn’t effect when your typing because your hands are the keyboard anyways. Over all good value for money, ease of use, and easy setup

Color and flexibility of screen

The keyboard is smaller than the average laptop keyboard but sized well for an iPad. Have not used it heavily yet but all the buttons work so far. Came with charger cable. My only complaint is that the back lights do not stay on after going idle. If they were just asleep with the keyboard no complaints but I have to turn them back on after waking them back up.

I purchased a new iPad and purchased this item. I am very happy with the protection and the ability to hold the iPad.

I would have given it 5 stars, but the indentation on keyboard part isn’t deep enough to be effective. Other than that, I like the spring of the keys, and am happy with it.

Solid protection for the I-pad, fits very nicely. The lit up keyboard is awesome, simple to use, battery life is excellent. I like the swing-swivel hinge, allows me to set up like a small laptop, or swing it around, anf fold it, carry like a tablet.

Exceeded every expectation - if I could give six stars I would. The multi-angle, rotating feature of the screen holder is genius. I’m able to user my iPad as a laptop if desired, or with just a couple of simple moves it’s in “tablet” mode. Durable construction, protection for my tablet is more than adequate. Keys have an exquisite touch, and the Bluetooth keyboard has never failed to connect instantly. I’m tempted to buy a second one as a backup if this one should ever fail me. Fabulous product and love that I'm not forced into buying a track pad, making the keys larger for ease of use. Really appreciate the backlit keyboard. Would give it 5 stars but the battery life isn't as much as I expected when in use. Also happy that it takes a C-charge cord instead of a micro.

Well made and I really like the swivel feature. Doesn't add as much weight as I thought it would. Connectivity is flawless and after reading the instructions it all went smoothly. Battery life is great as well.

Literally looks just like the picture! I got the darker pink one and it matches my pink iPad 10th generation perfectly. The color is so spot on! It’s lightweight and my iPad fits snug. Comes with a charger but if you have the iPad charger then you won’t even need the one that it comes with. My apple pen also fits snug in the pen holder loop.
